Meet The Author
Nathan is a children’s author, adoptive parent to two children, and a foster carer to three young children. His life is shaped by the stories, challenges, and everyday moments of the children around him, experiences that deeply influence the heart of his writing.
Through his books, Nathan gently explores complex and often difficult life experiences, helping children make sense of emotions, change, and the world around them. He also writes stories that centre on autism and inclusion, with the aim of building understanding, kindness, and a sense of belonging among young readers. Alongside these meaningful themes, Nathan has begun creating stories filled with adventure, fun, and magical journeys, inviting children to explore worlds where imagination leads the way and anything feels possible.
At the core of Nathan’s work is a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to feel loved, valued, and accepted. His stories are written to reassure children that their feelings matter, their experiences are valid, and their story is important.
Alongside his writing, Nathan uses the knowledge he has gained from fostering, adoption, supporting his own autistic children, and his role as an independent panel member to create a growing selection of free training courses for parents, carers, and professionals. His aim is simple: the more we, as adults, learn and understand, the easier a young person’s journey becomes. Upon completion of each course, a certificate is issued to contribute to your ongoing professional and personal development.
To ensure this work can continue to grow, Nathan has recently begun developing a range of more advanced courses that will be offered as paid content. These courses help support the wider mission, contributing towards the costs of illustrators, book printing, and the ongoing development of his online academy. Nathan currently self-funds all of his projects, and this small selection of paid courses will help make it possible to keep creating both valuable learning resources and meaningful stories for children and those who support them.
When he’s not writing or developing resources, Nathan continues his work supporting children in real life, listening, learning, and finding new ways to help them feel seen, heard, and understood.
